Prasad Earns Graduate Scholarship Award

Sarita Prasad, an ECE graduate student working with Professor Edl Schamiloglu, was notified March 13 that she has been selected as one of four recipients of the 2009 Graduate Scholarship Award of the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society.

The award comes with a prize of $750 and a one-year membership in the IEEE NPSS.

In his letter to Ms. Prasad, William Moses of the Lawrence Berkeley Lab, who is chairman of the NPSS Awards Committee, said that "There are many talented people in the NPSS, and very few are chosen to receive one of these awards. I think that this is an accomplishment that you can be very proud of!"
